Unable to download Fallout 3 game

A couple of years ago I purchased Fallout 4 for Xbox one on disc. I more recently realized that the disc game came with a free, downloadable copy of Fallout 3. I have spent roughly half an hour attempting to redeem the code and install the game onto my Xbox, but I am consistently running into issues that stop me from doing so. it says I should try redeeming the 25 character code on my Xbox console, which is what I'm doing, and that I need to change my language region settings. I live in the UK so I have changed the setting from United States to United Kingdom but that doesn't seem to of changed anything.

Please help! I have looked everywhere online and haven't been able to discover a solution.

I've purchased fallout 4 on a disc with a code for fallout 3 digital download. i can install f4 from disc but the update starts and stops at 0% the same applies to f3 even though I've redeemed the code the game refuses to download, and I am no longer able
to dowload f4 for gamepass anymore. I've done everything short of smashing it up. I paid for game pass and am unable to play the game I purchased it for , I've purchased the original disc and I'm unable to play that also and the reason I purchased the disc
was for fallout 3 digital download which I'm unable to download?? and nothing is fixing the problem or refunding me for be ripped off and ignored

I am unable to download Fallout 3 today. It took my money no problem. won't even start. grr

It's not so much a language setting as a region setting. Fallout 3 is region locked. So your account region has to match your physical location. You'll want to check http://account.microsoft.com to make sure your region is correct. Even if it is, try re-entering your address information. If that doesn't fix it, go to https://live.xbox.com/AccountMigration and migrate your account region. Occasionally the 360 system will see a different region on your account even if you have it set correctly.

I have a fallout 3 problem myself. I have fallout 3 GOTY, my game disc does not read well on the one but the 360 it reads fine. the dlc disc of fallout 3 is fine and can read on the one.

Because I preordered fallout 4 I got fallout 3 game itself for download but no dlc with it so I put in the dlc disc and the console installed the dlc no problem. I run the game and check downloads and none of the dlc shows up at all not even when I load
the game but it's on my game manager as installed...
