Unable to create our first Minecraft world on Xbox x

Hello. We are setting up our brand new Xbox x series console and have purchased Minecraft and purchased a game pass. We are trying to create our first world in Minecraft and when pressing the Create button nothing is happening. Please help. We have been working on this for two hours now. We also have a switch and have never had trouble setting up and creating a world.

Please close the game https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/apps-help/how-to-close-xbox-one-app-or-game then relaunch it and try again. It may also help to perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable (ideally from both the wall outlet and the console itself if possible) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset the power supply.

If you receive an error report that you are almost out of storage space, go into the saved game data in-game settings to delete files manually. To do so follow the steps below:

Sign into your account.

Choose the world or Realm you would like to delete.

Select the edit icon to the right of the world or Realm name.

On the game settings screen, scroll to the bottom and select Delete.

Resource packs, textures, skins, and mods are also stored in your local storage and account for total data size per local profile. The console’s OS running the Bedrock version of Minecraft is restricted to three to four gigabytes of memory.

It is possible to transfer a Minecraft preview world from Xbox Series X to Minecraft preview on PC. You can follow these steps to do so:

Open the Minecraft Preview version on your Xbox Series X and go to the world you want to transfer.
Click on the "Edit" button next to the world you want to transfer.
Click on the "Game" tab and then click on "Export World" to save the world to your device.
Once the world is exported, open the default Minecraft Bedrock version on your Xbox Series X.
Click on "Play" and then click on "Create New."
Name your new world and click on "Create."
In the new world, go to "Settings" and then click on "Storage."
Click on "Import" and select the world file you exported earlier from the Minecraft Preview version.
Wait for the world to import, and then click on "Play" to start playing the world in the default Minecraft Bedrock version.
Now, you need to upload your world to a Realm, which is an online server that lets you play with your friends across different devices.
