Unable to connect Xbox Series X to WiFi after recent update

After installing the latest update on my Xbox Series X, I'm unable to connect to WiFi. I've tried restarting the console and my router, but nothing seems to work. Other devices in my home can connect to the network without any issues, so I don't think it's a problem with my WiFi. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

I understand how challenging this issue can be. I'd like to help you find a solution.

Try forgetting your WiFi network on your Xbox and reconnecting by entering the password again.

If that doesn’t work, try a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then unplugging the console for a minute before turning it back on.

If the issue persists, you may need to reset your network settings in Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear.

I keep having the same issue with the series x wifi just turns off and is unable to find any network at all. I have to restart the series x and it's good for about 5 to 10 minutes then does it all over again its very frustrating

The issue seems to be at the OS level. My old Xbox One has been working fine for quite a long time until an software update a few months ago. After that, with instant on enables Xbox randomly losses ability to see any WiFi networks (sometimes there is a
period of a graduate decay of functionality, when after wake it's able to find WiFi connection after a couple minutes pause, but eventually it goes into complete loss of WiFi connectivity and inability to see any WiFi networks around).

At first I suspected my old Xbox hardware, but recently I got a new Xbox One X and after a couple of weeks it got exactly in the same state as the old one.

So, all indicators are pointing towards a bug in Xbox OS (Win 10 presumably).

A workaround that seem to help in my case is a cold boot (unplugging Xbox power cord).

After reading others people’s posts who are having the same issue, it seems this may be a wired networking issue. I unplugged the Ethernet and connected via wifi and it works fine. The wired connection issue with the series X is widespread and Microsoft needs to address this.

I have one Xbox (Series X) wired via Ethernet. I can play on WiFi with no disconnects but I prefer a wired connection for gaming.
