Unable to connect to Xbox Live.

Hi. I have a new Xbox One X, an upgrade from my 360.

I am unable to connect to Xbox Live and anything related to it.

When I go into Family Settings I just get "Check again soon. We can't get data for your settings"

Family Account returns "We are unable to get your family info from Xbox Live"

Signed-out content restrictions gives "Your content restrictions are in effect, but can not be changed until we connect to the service"

This means my teenage boy still needs parental permission to play Forza Horizon every time he turns the Xbox on.

I am connected via a network cable direct into the Modem, and have a very fast Fibre Optic connection.

The Xbox is connected and tests ok. I have also disconnected the cable and connected via wifi with the same results. The Xbox games connect to the internet and update successfully

There are no third party devices connected.

I have done everything suggested, from turning off fast start, and hard resets, including a full factory reset, and full factory reset with offline system update.

When trying to update from the factory reset this error code : 0x8B0500B6 0x00000000 0x00000201

This error code is not recognised by Xbox support.

Is there a fix, or do I have a faulty Xbox?

Please can I have help. Xbox just tells me to turn on the internet connection...
