Unable to Connect to Xbox Live Party in FIFA 23 After Update

Hi everyone,

I've recently encountered an issue after the latest update for FIFA 23 on my Xbox. Previously, I was able to connect to Xbox Live parties without any issues, but now I can't seem to join or create any parties while in the game.

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. Checked my internet connection (everything seems fine)

2. Restarted my Xbox console

3. Ensured that my Xbox Live subscription is active

4. Re-installed FIFA 23

Despite these attempts, the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this issue after the update? Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

I understand that you are experiencing issues connecting to Xbox Live after the update.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check NAT Type. Make sure that your NAT type is open. A strict or moderate NAT can cause party chat issues. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Network > Network settings and check your NAT type.

And then clear alternate MAC Address. To do this, please go to Profile & system > Settings > Network > Advanced and clear the alternate MAC address. Restart your console after doing this.

If possible, kindly try to connect your Xbox to a different Wi-Fi network or use a wired network connection and check if it works.

it was fifa 23 and yesterday i got into ea sports fc 24 ultimate team but today i was unable to connect

We understand that you're unable to connect EA Sports servers for FIFA 23 despite your XBOX account and connection being fine.

With your connection working fine this is more likely a problem at EA's end and not at ours. As a test, can you check if you get all green checkmarks when visiting the https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status page?

Now if you get all green checkmarks, you need to contact EA for help at that point since it's an issue with their servers. Please post this issue of yours at the FIFA 23 Community forums using the link below.

There is No Xbox messages that appear, only ones that appear olare the one on the games itself.

Fifa says- Cant connect to opponent

MW- Can't join party or party member started a game

Star wars says nothing except unable to connect.

Because u download the update from a usb or cd from other website not from xbox website u can't connect to xbox live until the offically update release in 23 october then u will be able to connect again edit download the update from xbox in the 23 of
october 2012
