unable to connect to xbox live parties through game bar

I'm having the same issue. Unable to connect to party chat using Xbox Game Bar and Xbox Companion. It started between 8pm and 830pm EST.

Are you part of Microsoft Family? If yes, you may ask if your parents/guardian/organizer will allow you to communicate to your friends by enabling join or create a party and other privacy settings that may block you to do so. No 3rd-party antivirus software. Followed that guide and with a clean boot and no 3rd party services Xbox Game Bar would still not open. Still unable to open the application.

Thanks for coming to the forums. You are unable to hear as a Xbox 360 game connects to the 360 servers. The party chat is running through the Xbox one servers.
