Unable to Connect to Xbox Live Parties After Latest Update

Please try to test connecting your console to another network and check if the same problem occurs, you could configure your smartphone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect your console to that network.

Do you receive any error message that you can share? As part our troubleshooting, please ensure that your communication settings are properly configured. These communication settings can be adjusted to limit who you want to chat with.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system.

2. Select Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customise.

3. Select Communication & multiplayer, and then review the settings for the following to make sure that they are set to "Everyone":

Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text

You can use video for communications

Note: If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. I understand how frustrating this issue can be. You're not alone, I've seen that others have reported similar issues after the latest update.

Try checking your NAT type in network settings, as a strict or moderate NAT can cause party chat problems. Also, clearing the alternate MAC address (Settings > Network > Advanced) and power cycling your console might help.

If the issue persists, you might also want to try it on a different WiFi Network or mobile hotspot just to rule out if it's related to your internet provider.

They really seriously screwed network stack in latest update. For me it started with unability to connect to Xbox Live and now I have similar problems with connecting to wifi
