1. Restart your iPhone SE 2 and your Wi-Fi router.

2. Check if your Wi-Fi router firmware is up to date. If not, update it.

3. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network and check if the issue persists.

4. Check if your iPhone SE 2 is running on the latest version of the Xbox app. If not, update it.

The remote play option on the new iOS Xbox app will work wherever you have a signal (Wi-Fi or 5G) and you don't need to be on the same network as your Xbox.

If you are connecting to Wi-Fi, it's recommended to use the 5Ghz band. Especially if you are connecting a controller to your device using Bluetooth.

I'm having this issue too. Xbox 360 is connected to the router with ethernet cable, devices are over wi-fi, 5ghz. Nothing will connect, Windows 10 app, iPad 2 app. Application won't run on my iPhone anymore with iOS 11.

I used SmartGlass for the first time tonight (tested it out on Netflix), works PERFECTLY!

I have to admit I raged a little because it won't connect, then I realized I was using LTE, it's Wi-Fi only. LOL
