unable to connect to parties on game bar

hi all for the past few days i have been unable to join parties on xbox game bar i have tried several solutions which are a follows

1. i have repaired the app in windows setting

2. i have reset the app in windows setting

3. i have fully uninstalled then reinstalled the app

4. i have made sure my network is not blocking the connection

5. i have made sure my time zones are fine incase that was messing it up

6. i have checked that the is no enforcement or ban on my account

if anyone can help me that would be great

I'm having the same issue. Unable to connect to party chat using Xbox Game Bar and Xbox Companion. It started between 8pm and 830pm EST.

No 3rd-party antivirus software. Followed that guide and with a clean boot and no 3rd party services Xbox Game Bar would still not open. Still unable to open the application.

If you're experiencing issues with joining Game-Bar parties on your PC, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Reset Game Bar:

Press Windows Key + R and type “ms-settings:gaming-gamebar.”
Click “Reset” under Game Bar.

2. Check Audio Settings:

Go to Settings > System > Sound.
Make sure your default input and output devices are correct.
Test your microphone and speakers to ensure they are working.

3. Disable Third-Party Software:

Some third-party software, such as antivirus or VPN programs, can interfere with Game Bar.
Temporarily disable these programs and try to join a party.

4. Reinstall Game Bar:

Press Windows Key + R and type “appwiz.cpl.”
Find “Xbox Game Bar” in the list of programs, right-click it, and select “Uninstall.”
Restart your PC and reinstall Game Bar from the Microsoft Store.

5. Check for Corrupted Network Files:

Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Type “netsh winsock reset” and press Enter.
Type “netsh int ip reset” and press Enter.
Restart your PC.
