Unable to Connect to a Third-Party Minecraft PE Server

Hello everyone! I have a problem with Minecraft PE.

So basically my friend had an Java Edition SMP which was cross-platform with Bedrock using Geyser. It was working flawlessly for the whole server until I invited my other friend which was playing on a phone. When he tried to connect the error message would appear saying unable to connect to world. We tried hosting an Bedrock from the same machine and still he couldn't connect. We were on the same version and still couldn't connect. The servers like Mineplex and Xbox Worlds where working fine.

I am kinda experienced with server hosting and port forwarding.

I heard that I need to port foward some ports for him to work but I don't want to change anything yet.

I checked everything and it seems that it's probably the issue on the client's side (sorry for the bad English, it's not my main language) since everything is working fine and we can still connect normally.

With issues like these, you will need to check the following:

Check your network connection.
Restart your router
Refresh Minecraft server
Check the status of Minecraft server
Re-log in Minecraft
Contact your network administrator

However, if the issue still persists, it would be best to contact Mojang support for further assistance.

For Minecraft PE servers running a Hunger Games mode, go to https://minecraftpocket-servers.com/tag/hunger-games/

Find a server you like, and then add that server with Port number to the server list. Then connect to that server.

a system is only as secure as the user makes it, all the platforms now have descent security, enabling 2fa is a no brainer these days, but dont forget that third party games pay for their own servers, Microsoft only uses the gold money for their own servers
for first party titles, profiles etc. your still being routed to third party servers when you connect to a third party game.

There are a couple of different options that you have. Depends on what version of Minecraft you're on (Bedrock, specific platform versions, Java, etc). But you can rent a realm, or set up a server.

The benefit of a realm is that it's a third party hosting solution, so it'll be online even when you're not, and you can still control details about it, such as access lists and what not. Downside is there is a subscription cost associated with that.

The benefit of a server is that you host it locally, and have further control over it. You can also look into other non-realm third party hosts for minecraft, that will host the server for you, and allow you certain controls for it, but those also have
a cost associated to them to the third party host. The downside is that whatever computer is hosting the server would need to be online for users to connect to it. You'd still be paying for power and what not, but would not be a full subscription cost.
