Unable to Connect and Play Live Multiplayer Games

Okay so I've been having this weird problem for almost 2 weeks now. My friend has a Minecraft Realms and we've been playing on that since mid-June with no problems. Then one day out of the blue I kept timing out and getting kicked. So of course I restart
the internet router, restart my laptop, uninstall and reinstall Minecraft 1.14.3 (with Optifine) and try again. This worked for about 24 hours. Everything was fine for that time period until about 2 days after that, and I had the same problem. I am unable
to connect to Minecraft Realms, but I can join a Minecraft multiplayer server. However, I have an incredibly high ping that spans from about 1700-3000. This problem also reaches other games, such as The Sims 4 and Minecraft Bedrock Edition (for Windows 10).
I cannot connect to The Gallery (TS4) to check my profile and download creations or leave comments. I can browse the internet with no problems, but I cannot play online games on this laptop. Other computers on my home internet are able to play multiplayer
games, though. Just not mine. I have never had this problem before, and I've had this laptop since March 2019. I am also a noob when it comes to computers and can only perform basic procedures.

In this span of 2 weeks, Minecraft has updated to 1.14.4, and the Sims 4 also underwent a new update. I'm totally at a loss for what to do next and I'd really like to play multiplayer games again.

EDIT: I also attempted to update my Driver, but that didn't help either.

It says Connection Error: "Unable to connect to xbox live. Please try again later." Yet i am still able to play other multiplayer games like RE6, BO2 and others...

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with multiplayer features on games. I recommend to try the following article: Troubleshoot
gameplay issues on Windows 10.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

You don't need to have any friends to play online on Call of Duty or any active Xbox LIVE online games for that matter. If you are unable to connect to multiplayer matches the issue is a networking one. Does your NAT status say 'Open' on the main multiplayer
screen on MW2?
