I'm sorry for your inconvenience. Honestly, I'm not sure why you're experiencing these issues, but with Android app compatibility, unfortunately, it can happen. You could also ask Samsung if they are aware of the issue and have found a solution.

The only solution I personally found is to bypass the initial setup from the app and do it through the controller. I've included the link to the official guide. I'm having similar guide problems. Most all channels on the guide are incorrect. I have DISH and the device is a Hopper. It wouldn't accept my zip code during setup (44035) so I entered the zip of neighboring city (44039). This is very frustrating.

I have the opposite issue.

The 12month of service code wont work but the shadow jago did.

I wonder if this is because I entered the Shadow Jago code first and I assume you entered the Live code first. Maybe that can shed some light for Microsoft.
