Unable to claim warranty on Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller

I could not really imagine how important it is for you to be able to claim your warranty at the soonest time possible. However, we have realized that this issue of yours would be dealt better by our live support team so that they can properly check. 2. This will take you to a small prompt. Kindly select your responses to every question and select Next.





3. If you are not signed into your Xbox account. You will be prompted of this otherwise you will have your options to contact Xbox Support. You

Go through the automated advisor, that'll eventually ask for the serial number and generate a returns request.
You then get an email saying someone will be in contact with the details.

They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

The Elite Series 2 controller has a 1 year warranty.

If your controller isn’t working and needs replacing, go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty and
enter the controller’s serial number at the bottom of that page. For the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the 14-character serial number is in the lower centre on the back of the controller.

I bought Xbox Wireless Elite Series 2 Controller, Here in EU (Greece) all controllers have 1 year warranty and the Series X/S consoles 2 years.
