Unable to claim 50 points on the achieve more earn more in rewards app

Whats going on with the rewards app? When I click the achieve more earn more it just flashes but doesn't give me the points. I've now missed a full week. I've contacted rewards support and they are useless, sending me this rubbish;

Before I could even reply they've closed the support request. Why?

Can somebody from Rewards contact me and sort this out, its a total joke it hasn't been fixed its still not working properly now!

They’re saying it’s a server problem. They have deployed a fix, but it might not help you today, and to send them a screenshot of your achievement you’ve earned today with the date showing and they’ll credit you if you are unable to get it working.

You would have to use the contact link on the bottom of the Rewards site to contact them again. Rewards support does not use the forums and we are just fellow gamers.

Same thing here. I’ve been reaching out to support and I got the same answer and that if it happens again send screenshots.

They'll just send jargon and close the ticket again. Anybody that uses meaningless quasi- tech babble like "back end resolution" is a master of saying a lot without saying anything.

There are a lot of ways to earn. You can do Bing searches on PC for 150 points a day. You can do Bing searches on the Bing mobile app for another 100 points a day. You can earn bonus points by answering daily trivia questions and polls. You can earn 50 points
a day by getting an achievement and claiming them in the Rewards app on Xbox. And then there are all kinds of other timed challenges to earn even more points.

I like to save up my points and wait for the discount on Microsoft Gift Cards, so I can maximize the value of my rewards. For example, right now MS Gift Cards are $5 for 4000 points, when they are normally like 5000 or more points.
