Unable to buy any 360 games/add-on with money/free or even included with XBox Live Gold

Hi there,

can you provide some additional information like:

1. Are there any payment options connected to your Microsoft Account (base for the Xbox Live Account)

2. What device are you using to try and purchase the content. Since purchasing content on a different device then a Xbox 360 does require a valid payment option even the free content.

3. Are your location and your Xbox Live Account region both supported Xbox Live Regions and the same, to verify see this link:

4. Do any issues who at
http://account.microsoft.com at the subscriptions or payment options

With information based on those items, some suggestions might be possible on what to try.

Let us know the results

You can only buy 360 games from a 360 console, when trying to use the money on your account. The 360 marketplace "back end" is different than the one for Xbox One.

From the Xbox One, you can buy 360 games with a CC or paypal just not the funds that are on your account.

If you need/want to buy a 360 game with your funds, you'll need to get your account on a 360 console and make the purchase.

There is nothing that Xbox Support can do for this.

After at least 6 different reaching to Microsoft support, and 5 support requests, it's now working!

Strangely, while the issue with buying 360 was occurring I was also unable to post question in this forum, then they got fixed at the same time, I'm not sure why. Last things I did on my side was to remove myself from family, where I was the only member.
I talked so many hours with Microsoft support than maybe somebody got tired, and started to take took a look at the log files... For hours, nobody understood what to do with these code, mn, req unique identifier... oh well.

Have you tried a different browser by chance? Or made sure you have accurate billing info on file as WPAK suggested, Also was it working previously for you or has it never worked?
