Unable to Bring up Settings Box After Latest Xbox Skip Ahead Build

When you hold the home button, does it give the option to report an issue? If it does, then use that feature, but if it is not there, then the official reddit is the best place to report.

You should report the bug in the official reddit and if the issue persists you may want to unenroll the console from the program and soft reset it.

Have you tried
Power Cycling / Hard resetting your Xbox console or unplugging your Xbox console from the power supply for 5 minutes?

I would suggest the
Console Soft Factory Reset but you're not able to bring up the settings and you're not able to access the

backdoor to the troubleshooting screen by holding down the eject and bind button.

Just to be sure, here are the steps again to access the backdoor troubleshooting screen that allows you to soft factory reset your console.

1. Hold down the eject and bind button for 10 seconds.

2. While holding down the eject and bind button (after 10 seconds) hit the power button on the console.

3. Keep holding down the Eject and bind button for another 10 seconds until you hear a beep or the troubleshooting screen pops up.

4. Reset console (Keep my games and apps)

up untill recently mine was making the swoosh sound. Since some of the latest Alpha Skip Ahead builds it has stopped. Is your console pre-owned at all?
