unable to book controller for repair

you can also try to call them usign the telephone number of your country, but i'd give more time of the website until i call them, maybe those are server problems, they should be ok soon

been trying now for three days and still nothing... i dont want them to say the warranty has expired on it if it becomes out of warranty in the period anyone got the uk support number ?

Are you currently booking repairs in, for customers in the EU?

I have an Elite gen 2, that powers off without warning (even though its apparently fully charfed).

The controller was purchased on the 4th January 2020, and has been used for around 2 weeks total.

Spoke to microsoft cs, who tried to book it in, then told me I would have to do it manually.

Booked it in manually, and I never received a shipping label.

Called again the following day, and was able to confirm that the reason I was unable to book in a repair, was that the service centre in Germany, is supplied with parts from China (an obviously they hadn't received any stock).

I'm now stuck with a controller that I paid £158 for (purchased through Amazon), that an only be used over USB, less than a month after purchase.

Any chance you can advise on repair?

Does Microsoft even repair consoles 6 months out of warranty?

What is the cost for such a repair?

Will the repair then be warrantied, should the killer update strike again?

Where and how do I contact Microsoft to book a repair? As the xbox is out of warranty I am unable to do so on my Microsoft account as it keeps coming back with “something when wrong” when I go to “Get a service for your device”.



I am unable to book a service.

I have been disconnected 3 times today on the phone.

And reporting in the Microsoft community is answered by “independent advisors”.

This feels like being stonewalled.
