    Hi, I'm unable to add payment method in my Microsoft Account. It always asked me to check the debit card's information and I have checked everything over and over again, my debit card information is all correct. I'm from Malaysia and the reason on why I want to add a payment method is because I want to subscribe the Xbox PC Game pass with a code that I have. In order for me to use the code, I need to have a payment method first. Please help.

    Hi Arif, if this did not work for you, you should leave the 24 to 48h time without linking attempts.

    Try adding your payment method through this website

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

    - Try using different browsers and devices.

    - Try adding the payment method by adding the information completely in uppercase or completely in lowercase.

    - Make sure the information matches the information you provided to your bank.

    In case it does not work, you will have to wait 24 to 48 hours without trying to associate, after this time try again.

    Hi! Thanks for answering.

    About being physically billed and issued in the same country, I'm not sure what that means but if it helps I did also try checking if the region on my account and pc were the same. The payment method I'm trying to add is Mastercard from my local bank billing to my local account (I haven't been out the country anyway so I don't think there's a problem there). My MS & PC account region is also the same/local.

    I'm not sure if another payment method would work. My only options are card or Paypal and I can't use Paypal because I don't have any of the req. IDs to create an account on hand.

    Heya BriddyB.

    The card name shouldn't be an issue so long as it's associated with the correct billing address. Have you possibly tried adding your payment method over on
    account.microsoft.com instead of through your Xbox One console? If not, give that a try and let us know how it goes.

    Are you still having issues with this? Did you contact your bank to see if they put any holds on it for fraud protection or anything?
