Unable to activate the Promotion

I logged in my XBox360 and I see, nice and big, the advertisement of "Exclusive Offer for You - Try 1 Month xbox live Gold for free".

Now, of course I wouldn't ignore such chance and go for activating it, but it appears to not work, keeping to give me error 80153021 or 8015401B. It is quite disappointing, since being given this offer means I should be able to activate
it regardless of past usage of free trials.

Any suggestion?

Xbox 1 promo credit

Hey there, Jorge! I dug a little bit and it looks like the message for this promotion was never sent to your account. In order to receive this promotion, you should have received a message on your account while still on the Xbox 360 to purchase the Xbox
One and activate it as your Home console during a specified time. Unfortunately, this means that you do not qualify for this particular promotion.

Please do keep an eye out for future promotions via
majornelson.com or news.xbox.com that you may be eligible for. I am sorry to see that you are unable to receive this credit, but do hope that you qualify for future offers!

I was charged €6.99 for Netflix and €6.99 from Microsoft Luxembourg S.à.r.l. through Paypal

purchasing any promotions on xbox live will activate a subscription of xbox

xbox gold is required for netflix

Unfortunately since these quests are made available to Game Pass subscribers exclusively, we are unable to guarantee if a reward will deliver if the subscription was canceled as it must be active during the promotion period. For this instance, I recommend
keeping an eye out if a reward for January comes through or not (rewards can take up to 30 days after the end of the promotion).

Thank you for contacting Forum support.

For any subscription promotions you will have to make sure you do not have an active subscription.

If there is an active sub, then you will not be able to get the current promotion unless the subscription is removed or ends.

(If you do not have an active sub, then you should be able to activate it)

If you click on the Promotion it should carry the Terms and Conditions that state that information.
