Unable to acquire the Games with Gold game: LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

Figured out how to fix the issue with no valid payment option on marketplace.xbox.com thanks to a suggestion on the official Xbox discord channel.

1. Launch any Xbox 360 title that has a built in DLC menu within the game. I used Borderlands 1.
2. In that game's menu, I clicked Downloadable Content.
3. Pick any DLC for the game in question and press A to buy.
4. It should prompt you for payment option, which will be empty because *doh* you don't have one.
5. Add payment option.
6. Once added, it should tell you its been added to your account and show you the option to buy the content in question.
7. Back out, go to Xbox.com and try to purchase/claim the 360 item in question.
8. Success.

I have this same issue and I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out. I've talked to Xbox Support multiple times and have been given different answers/solutions, including:

• Because "game is no longer available in the marketplace; need to purchase on Xbox 360"
• Suggested to either "use a Xbox 360, borrow a friend's/family's Xbox 360 or purchase the game via 3rd party retailer (disc copy)".
• If I tried to purchase on Xbox One S or X and I get the error, it is because the "game is too old".
• The option they are providing to customers is to "Purchase them using an Xbox 360 console".

I was eventually informed that my case would be escalated to a "Higher Advocacy Team" Agent also claimed that "this is already a system issue and still being fixed by engineers".

I just received a response from Xbox Support stating the solution is "to download or purchase the games on an Xbox 360 console. Which I find ridiculous that is their "option". I've tweeted Xbox Support and Major Nelson as there's no way that is the only
solution to a problem that seemingly only a select few of us is apparently having.

I do not find the solution to "buy a Xbox 360" acceptable. I'm paying for Xbox Live Gold, specifically for these free games, which all the Xbox 360 ones are specifically backwards compatible, yet I need an Xbox 360 in order to "buy" them so I can play them
on my Xbox One? I've only redeemed basically every Xbox 360 games from Games with Gold since its inception, but now I can't?

I also can't buy ANY Xbox 360 (free or paid) item from Xbox.com so I guess they don't want my money?

Tried that now i got this error code 8c250005 instead

No I have a card on file. I have been downloading Games with Gold for years. I have tried from my console and from the website but i get the same message. I need help to claim this game. Thanks
