Unable to access lifelong account, still get emails for it

Hello,

I have used the same account since I was a kid for Xbox. All of my achievements, sleepless nights, tears, sweat, blood, and money have gone into it. Context aside, it was stolen. I had lost access to it and shortly after the email and gamertag was changed, something I hadn't changed for years. I couldn't use my original email to log in. I contacted Microsoft support, but they said I had to submit a request for account recovery, and I heard nothing back after that. I had contacted them again, with proof I had access to the email that was previously associated with the account, and multiple proofs of payment methods for the account in question. I was redirected to another form to fill out, and a few days later they had notified me by email that there wasn't sufficient information. I believe I have plenty more information and even a console with the account still linked to (unable to get past password). I am still getting updates for the new Gamertag under my personal email. Please, I just want my account back, and to know that my information is not being sold.

Go to Security > Security and password

Select Change my password to reset your Microsoft account password

Verify that you are the account holder by receiving a security code

Enter your current password

Keep in mind that Microsoft, as well as its advisors or support, recommend not giving our account to anyone, so as not to have bad times and much less lose things that are very important to you as a player.

Thanks for the reply but i already reset my password through this. My problem is i am unable to change the recovery email that Hacker changed earlier. He still access my account as he got his email set as recovery email on my account.

This did nothing. Still stuck being forced to login to the account I don't have the password for, and am unable to recover due to "Lack of information"

Clicking sign in with a different microsoft account does nothing but refresh the enter password screen for the email i'm unable to access.

I have the same problem. The email on my xbox live account is years old, I have no access to it anymore, and I am unable to add a new email because "I still need to verify my email." That's pretty difficult considering I no longer have access to it. Great

Same problem here. Cannot get into my son's account. I am able to access my Live account on his Xbox, but unable to get into his using same email and password.
