Unable to Access Game Pass for PC

I had bought the Game Pass for PC last night. After downloading the application and signing in to both of my Microsoft accounts (knowing which one I had purchased the pass through), the application was still requiring me to purchase the $5 pass.

I signed out and signed back in, closed and reopened the application, uninstalled and reinstalled it, restarted my PC, and even refunded the $1 and repurchased the pass on Microsoft's website.

It always says the pass is on my account subscriptions, but even after all I've tried doing to fix it, I am unable to access my Game Pass. What is the issue here?

I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. You are trying to access your game files? The Xbox insider app allows you to change where you install games, which means that I can now choose the location within Windows and name the folder I want to install my games. It allows for easier access to your game files than the old app, which installed the games within the main OS and was difficult to access and control. Please take a look at the screenshot I inserted in this thread, and please take a look at the red underline. I have installed my games on the D:/foldername(XGP), now I can go into that folder and access my files.

I understand that you are unable to find a specific game title while using the Xbox app. Before we try to troubleshoot, please confirm that you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. a Game Pass Ultimate subscription is required to access any PC Game Pass titles. You may view your account status by visiting View and manage your subscription; there is a link that directs you to login with your account at the bottom of the page.

If you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and still do not have access to PC Game Pass titles, please respond back to this thread.

In addition to the above, just confirm that you definitely purchased Game Pass Ultimate (which gives access to GP on both platforms) and not Game Pass for PC (which just gives PC access)

If you only have standard Game Pass, not Game Pass Ultimate, then you'd only be able to access Game Pass games that are available on the console. A few of those games are Play Anywhere and you may be able to access them on PC, but you'd need Game Pass Ultimate if you want both Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass or to use cloud gaming.
