    So I am trying to play Nhl 23 with my friends on the xbox series s, my friend and I both play on series s and the other on a series x but when they send me an invite to join them it takes me to the Microsoft store and does not let me join at all.

    For NHL 20 i know you need to press Play With Friends mode and you should be able to invite from there.
