    Ultimate upgrade from Live Gold - confused!


    So I did manage to get my knickers in a twist with trying to figure out the "£1 month upgrade to Ultimate and then £10.99 per month deal". i'd appreciate someone turning the gobbledygook into plain english for me please!

    If I load up my son's xbox/Microsoft account with 36 months of Live Gold, and THEN apply the current "£1 month upgrade to Ultimate and then £10.99 per month deal", then WILL all 36 months of Live Gold become 36 months of Ultimate? If the answer to that is
    'yes', then what happens to the "£10.99 per month" part of the 'deal'?

    What I don't want is to get upgraded to Ultimate AND somehow have to pay £10.99 per month.

    It is simply ambiguous, to me at least, so has anyone applied this upgrade successfully ie paid £1 only.

    I did something similar to tnis.

    i had 18months of Gold and 18months of Game pass which was all converted at a 1 for 1 ratio.

    Ive then ccanelled the £10.99 subscription as I’ll be topping it up with Microsoft rewards redemptions to keep it going.

    If you have 36 months of live then thats transfered to 36 months of game pass ultimate. When those 36 months are up then at that time you will have to pay monthly NOT once you buy it.

    You have to read the offer carefully as many of those are introductory offers for new people joining not someone who is converting an existing gold account over.

    GamePass Ultimate converts all your remaining time from Gold to a single subscription, so if you do the conversion, you will have Gamepass and Live Gold for the entire remaining Gold period.
