Ultimate subscription error

When you added the card were you on an Ultimate Game Pass subscription? Adding gold while on Ultimate will convert the gold to Ultimate. A 12 month subscription is converted to 4 months of Ultimate.

Otherwise, you may want to verify the subscription at http://account.microsoft.com to see if it does show any errors or if the subscription was cancelled. If it does and it was indeed

Log into account.microsoft.com and go to services and subscriptions. Check to be sure you don't have an outstanding balance listed in red. That is something that would stop you from being able to redeem it.

There is only one entry in the list of subscriptions not marked as canceled: xbox game pass ultimate with the latest cancellation on 08/17/2019.
Any options, such as canceling or changing the payment method, result in an error.
For example: "An error occurred while disabling periodic billing

An error occurred while disabling periodic billing for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. "

No red subscriptions. In fact, any button on the page results in an error.

hello, thanks for the reply. i tried doing that but it still shows me that i have to pay for the subscription. i had a past due subscription to the normal game pass which i did not cancel, and i purchased the ultimate edition over it. When i purchased it, it showed me an error message but charged me for the GP Ultimate subscription. i then, cancelled my normal game pass subscription so that it did not show me the past due message. but for some reason it still shows me that i have to make the payment for the ultimate edition.

I am having issues connecting to Xbox Live and buying subscription also - not sure what's going on?

when Ultimate is bought then any current subscriptions for Gold and/or Game pass will be upgraded to the Ultimate subscription and any months on the other subscriptions present get converted to Ultimate, which results in only one subscription. If that is cancelled/refunded then no subscriptions are left, since it was only the Ultimate subscription that was present.
