Ultimate live subscription not always showing on xbox

Hi I have just set up a family profile for my son due to issues with him buying things he shouldnt using my credit card attached to my profile.

We have an ultimate game pass on my profile but I dont play it is his, we have made his x box the home x box and sometimes it works and sometimes not, I think i have to be logged on the xbox on my profile which defeats the purpose of him having his own profile!

Can you advise please?

Ideal would be to just switch the subscription to his profile as it is paid up to Sept 2021 but i dont think we have this as an option do we?

Any help appreciated, thanks...

Sorry for the late reply, If you have not contacted Support yet. Please do, following the steps below:

https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Click on Contact Support , a chat window will pop up

Type in "Talk to an agent"

Select your product "Xbox" click "Next"

Select your issue " Other account issues" click "Next"

Click on " Chat"

Yes it is asking him to subscribe again

OK, what is the error your son get when subscription does not work ? is it asking him to join or the Subscription again ?

We only have the one console, i have made this the “home x box” as suggested but it only seems to work if i log onto my profile on the xbox which obviously isnt really convenient ....

Sometimes yes sometimes no and i am not sure why ....it appears to work if i log into my account on the xbox then he logs into his after but i dont wdny to have to log into mine everytime he wantd to use his x box
