Ultimate Game Pass - Multiple Consoles

My son has a profile. It has Ultimate Game Pass.

I have a profile. It does not.

I'm considering purchasing another Xbox for my room.

In order to have access to the Ultimate Game Pass games on BOTH the additional Xbox AND the one in his room, I will need a second subscription.

My Question: Is there a discount for two Ultimate Game Pass subscriptions in the same household?

Unfortunately there isn't any sort of discount for multiple subscriptions.

No, but you can share Ultimate via the Home setting. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

If you have your son set the new console as his Home, you can access the subscription there. Or cancel the sub on his account and repurchase it on yours, then you would set the original console as your Home.

Unfortunately, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can only be shared on a single console, when you have multiple accounts on multiple consoles you'd need to purchase a separate subscription unfortunately.

We have only one console, not trying to share between multiple consoles. I am the parent and have purchased game pass on my profile. When my son logs in under his profile, game pass ultimate is not available. He's trying to get a pack on MLB that requires game pass ultimate and when he clicks to get game pass it doesn't recognize he already has it (which should be shared from my profile).
