uk series x . trying to get a warranty repair though ms but the site comes up with an error

Guys my new xbox x wont power up anymore, when i go through the warranty section of the website I get to the part about a shipping address and i get an error “something went wrong, try later"

so i try the call back section,—solve the captcha and i get a different error again,

there's no way for me to contact them now. I have tried going through currys who i bought it from and they just pass me around until they connect me to microsoft who play a recording saying to go through the device repair, which i cant because of the error.

from my googling this has happened to others but i cant find a solution yet.

What i've tried

three different browsers

messing in account settings making sure address was correct

registered the device etc

please does anyone have any ideas? this was a xmas present and the kids are going crazy!!

If that doesn't work please add the device to a different Microsoft account and try from that account

Finally if this doesn't wor, will be necessary to contact Xbox support, don't use the call back option, try the live chat

It's not a year though

The only controllers that come with a year warranty is the elites

NOT the included console controllers which only comes with accessories warranty which is 90days

You would have to buy ms complete within 30days of purchase of your xbox series x to be covered under extended warranty

Your console and plug is covered by a year not controllers

Thanks for the answer, Though it is extremely disheartening to know that I cannot even repair a known defect with out MS trying to bludgeon me over the head for daring to do so. I may have to seriously rethink what I actually want to do as far as getting a series X cause im sure those will have failures out of warranty too and carry with it the same ridiculous terms of service.

That is incredibly silly. Surely they should suggest locations in the UK that LEGALLY repair xbox originals. A console is bound to run out of warranty eventually, especially if second hand. Are second hand xbox 360 owners not allowed support either? If I
were them I would be giving the user asking for support a legible phone number or support email to either the higher ups or UK support. As it is the support contact us are all American on this site even though this is supposed to be the UK site?

Tell me exactly how a repair by a registered tradesperson is unauthorised.
