UK 'invite a friend to join Xbox Live Gold and both get £10 credit' dashboard offer

I invited my friend to join Xbox Live Gold because a promotion on the Xbox One dashboard said we would both get £10 of credit if I invited a friend and they joined. My friend joined via the email that was generated by me inviting her but neither of us have
received the £10 credit. The email my friend received when I invited her said we should receive it by March 31st, and it is now April 1st.

I have spoken on chat support about this issue and they referred me here. The reference number for this chat is [Mod Removed]

Xbox gold referral program

I recently saw an offer on my dashboard for referring friends to join Xbox live Gold. The offer gave you $10 (up to $100) for each friend that you invited when they activated gold membership. My friend just got an Xbox one and I'd like to refer him to the
Gold membership, but I cannot find the offer on the dashboard. I believe I read before that this offer was through July 15th, 2018. Can you please help me relocate this offer. I do see on my Microsoft account where I have previous invites still pending, but
I don't see an option to invite more people.

 

Help needed with refer a friend promotion please

Please help me with the promotion where you can invite up to 10 friends to join either xbox live gold or game pass, you receive £10 credit for each friend who signs up and they also get £10 credit.

I have spoken to various people on live chat during the weekend and they have advised me to post my issue here.

Basically it lets me choose 7 people from my friends list but they are currently gold and/or game pass subscribers. There are 2 people on my friends list who I wish to refer but wont let me even choose them. This is making it impossible for me to take advantage
of this offer.

Any other info needed, I can provide, including screenshots etc I also have a reference number from live chat which is 1417574931. Please help as I only have until 15th March to refer friends. Thanks

Please visit Get Xbox Live Gold for Just $1 and sign in with your Microsoft account details. It should say on there whether you have successfully referred your friend. You should be able to claim your £10 code
on that site as well (either that or it will be sent to your email, but bare in mind it is bank holiday weekend!).

I've just checked the website and it says that I invited my friend, but also this:

"This friend went Gold on their own. Unfortunately, that means that they’re not eligible for this offer anymore, but now that you’re both Gold, you can play together online."

My friend definitely joined via the invite I sent her, as I was with her when she signed up via the email. She's now spent money based on me telling her that we'd get £10 credit each if she signed up, so it seems quite unfair that we're now being told that
she somehow isn't eligible, especially when we did everything that the promotion told us to do correctly.
