    I'm from a UK based community called UGN and we've this week released our brand new Discord Community with a variety of general gaming channels as well as more than a dozen game specific channels for those of you looking for certain game conversation and looking
    to partner up on games.

    We've had a great start to the channel with several new people joining us and getting well and truly stuck in.

    The community is open to all Xbox players from across the planet young and old as we want it to be a truly friendly, approachable and enjoyable community for all to enjoy.

    Things to keep in mind:

    - Features typically found in Xbox party chat are not supported in Discord voice channels, such as Invite everyone to game, Join game, Switch to game chat, Party overlay, View profile card, and more.

    - You can’t mix Discord friends with Xbox friends. A Discord voice channel will contain Discord friends, while Xbox party chat will contain Xbox friends.

    - Switching between Discord voice channels on console is not supported. You’ll need to retransfer audio from Discord again to switch to a new voice channel.

    - Discord voice channel audio can’t be broadcast through Xbox live streaming.

    - Discord is not available in all countries/regions.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting to discord through your Xbox. For us to further isolate your issue, kindly share the exact error message that you received.

    If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. If you want to join or start an Xbox party chat, disconnect from the Discord voice channel so that you can switch over to game or party chat.

    Not sure what you mean. People chat in it all the time. Though there are rules that need to be followed. There is an official Xbox Discord channel already.
