    Login Information



    • Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    • Username: ubnt
    • Password: ubnt
    Change Wireless Band (Width)

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type in the gateway address, 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar, hit enter.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type ubnt for both username and password.
    5. Once of the main page, select the Wireless tab.
    6. On the Wireless page, scroll down to the “Basic Wireless Settings” section.
    7. Next to the Channel Width dropdown, select “20 MHz”.
    8. Select Save/Apply to save the changes.

    Why only 20 MHz. Only asking because I have 5.0 as well as 2.4 the 2.4 only has the option for '20 MHz Only' but the 5.0 has the option for 20 MHZ, 40 MHz or 80 MHz.

    HTIB is blocking XBOX live connection

    I am wondering if you can change the settings of the wireless router to use a different band. I'm assuming your HTIB is causing wireless interference by using the same band being used by your modem. You have typically 3 non overlapping bands, 1,6,11 to choose
    from. You may even want to try wedging the band in between to 3 or 9 if it's really overly crowded but the overcrowding on 1,6,11 is significantly enough away and weak enough to warrant that.
