    Linksys: Change Wireless Band

Why only 20 MHz. Only asking because I have 5.0 as well as 2.4 the 2.4 only has the option for '20 MHz Only' but the 5.0 has the option for 20 MHZ, 40 MHz or 80 MHz.

    Microsoft: Change Wireless Band

My Xbox one's modem isn't wokring. My wifi connection at my house is perfect but no options are showing up when I'm trying to connect my Xbox to my wifi. I'm mad because I just sent my Xbox into Microsoft a couple of months ago to fix the glitch there was
on starting my Xbox up and it went to the Xbox one green screen and it just stays on that forever. So they fixed that part and my Xbox was working perfectly fine, like I was connected and everything and now for some reason my modem inside my Xbox one isn't
    working.

HTIB is blocking XBOX live connection

I am wondering if you can change the settings of the wireless router to use a different band. I'm assuming your HTIB is causing wireless interference by using the same band being used by your modem. You have typically 3 non overlapping bands, 1,6,11 to choose
from. You may even want to try wedging the band in between to 3 or 9 if it's really overly crowded but the overcrowding on 1,6,11 is significantly enough away and weak enough to warrant that.
