Typing on xbox one with laptop keyboard inconsistency?

No USB Keyboard, erm... That's kinda a first, because like, everyone has a USB keyboard nowadays regardless of owning a laptop or not.

Using a USB keyboard on Xbox has a huge advantage which is typing text, makes it a whole lot faster (apps/msg).

We are sorry to hear that. It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your keyboard input. As per description, the stroke yolk increment is too high.

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. What is the current version and edition of Windows Installed? (Search for WINVER in Windows search to see this)
   
2. Was this working well before?
   
3. When did the problem start?
   
4. Recent activity or changes made before the problem appeared?
   

These above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we have gathered all the information, we will formulate the viable solution to help you with your case.

For the meantime, you may want to try running the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter on your Windows 10/11 computer to solve it.

To run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter on Windows 10, you can follow these steps:

1. Press Windows + R to open Windows Run dialog.
   
2. Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic in Run dialog and press Enter to open Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
   
3. Click Next to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
   
4. It will automatically detect problems with your computer hardware and devices.
   
5. You can decide to fix the problems or not by yourself.
   

If that doesn’t work, you can try increasing your ten key speed and accuracy by doing a data entry test and trying to improve your keystrokes per hour.

Btw my laptops keyboard dosnt work to well, and miss's some keys i press when typing, i meant AUSTRALIAN SERVER,

Any usb keyboard should function on the Xbox One. Are you trying to play a game using the keyboard/mouse or just for typing?
