Typical customer support?

So, I go and spend £450 on an Xbox One expecting to get £450 worth of entertainment out of it, instead I find myself wasting all my time trying to fix a headset that's been broken since I brought it.

First step? Asking a customer support "Ambassador" on how to fix it, to which i get:

predictably terrible service on a major release. This is horrendous. I can't play any of my games. This system is completely bricked because of this. Thanks. Money obviously well spent.

 

Try reading the first line of your transcript.

Then check the mute button, then read the first line of your transcript again if not fixed, then contact official support.

 

My son's headset was duff and I just contacted Tesco and they sent out a replacement, just take it into Game and they should replace it for you.

 

Actually Ambassadors are not Microsoft employees and don't get paid, we are gamers who volunteer our time to help other gamers to the best of our knowledge.

 

As deezee said, just take it back to GAME and you should have no issues replacing it. My daughters XB1 controller was faulty, took it into GAME, replaced it straight away

 

I think the ambassador gave you adequate responses to the best of his knowledge, taking it back to the store where you purchased from is a no brainer, I don't see anything wrong with the community support you received.

 

The OP was given good advice, common sense stuff really.

Not sure what he's complaining about on here.

^^^^ Yup... Plus, lets face it, the first thing 99% of people in the same situation would do would be to ring Game or just take the headset back.

 

I still reckon he cant work the mute button! ;-)
