If you and your son are playing games under the same account, it is not possible to play at the same time, and you need to create a separate account just for your child.

However, if your son already has a Microsoft account and the games you and your son want to play are purchased under your account, it is possible that both of you play at the same time.

To achieve this, you need to enable Home Xbox for your profile on your son's Xbox.

Open Settings > General > Personalization and make sure “Home Xbox” is checked.

In case some games are under your son's account, you can repeat this process but using instead his profile on your Xbox.

You shouldn't have any problems when you and him want to play at the same time, a title you or him owns.

However, in case you see a message, make sure to be logged out from your son's account on your console and logged out from your account on his console.

The family gold pack was designed for two adult accounts and two child accounts rather than three adults and one child or one adult and seven children. Hence you're stuck.

There are three accounts in total, two adult, one child. The info I gave previously was from my adult account.

I'm just checking his child and our adult statuses.

My account is Adult and his is Custom (Child setting interfered with his gaming).
