    Two XBOX Series X consoles were bought for my family recently; we need more game-sharing...


    Hello! We have a single-income family with two disabled children. My wife spends day and night with our younger boys, and recently, I was able to get two Series X consoles for my oldest two children.

    Over the years, they have had their game-sharing go out-of-sync, and now, after getting new consoles, they needed to, once again, re-establish their game sharing.

    We have been told by Microsoft representatives that they cannot give us more switches, until October, which I think is untrue. We haven't the ability to buy duplicate copies for every single piece of software that my oldest want. It's already hard enough that I buy many of the same games for myself, so we've already purchased at least two copies of every single product from your company.

    There MUST be a way for them to address the bugs with game-sharing, as needed, when needed. What are our options?

    Support is correct. They will no longer give more switches. All you can do is wait for the limit to reset on its own.

    Support used to have the ability to reset your home xbox switches but it just got abused and supports ability to do so was taken away years ago.

    Well, it's perfectly transparent how some have abused it. I have seen the abuse myself, so perhaps it's Microsoft's job to tune it.

    Support used to have the ability to reset your home xbox switches but it just got abused and supports ability to do so was taken away years ago.

    I don't work for Microsoft so I can't do anything about accommodating families. Personally I've never had issues with it. It's never just changed on its own like that. Make sure your kids aren't trying to game share with their friends.
