Two Xbox consoles on one live account at the same time

You have 2 accounts and 2 consoles. Let's call them Account A, Console A and account B, console B.

Account A has the subscription and B does not. A should sign into Console B and make it his Home Xbox and then sign out of that console and let account B sign in.

Doing that, account B will have access to the subscriptions and games on account A's account and they can play together.

The issue with gamesharing often happens when the account with the games/subscription doesn't sign out after making the other console his Home Xbox, but once it's signed out, the other account can sign in and access everything.

To designate an Xbox console as your home Xbox;

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

• Select System > Settings > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

• Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

Hello, no you only need one live account. The account that has the XBox Live subscription will go on the second console and make that the home. They both should be able to play and have all of their saves too.

Using the account, you can only be signed into Xbox LIVE from one console. Not two at the same time, I'm afraid. The account can be used on two separate consoles if you're not signed into Xbox LIVE, though.

Unfortunately you can not share the same Xbox account on two consoles at the same time. For both of you to play on two different consoles at the same time would require two different accounts. It doesn't cost anything to create an account for Xbox Live.
However, it will cost BOTH accounts to have Gold subscriptions.
