two xbox account under same email

I got a new Pc and when I tried loging into my existing xbox account for sea of thieves and minecraft it created a entirely new account. the funny thing is my old account still exists on my old pc but cannot be re-access with out lossing the account entirely. How do I get to my pre existing account? does it have to do with connecting my mojang account with my microsoft account?

With regards to your concern, may I ask if you are playing the game via Xbox console or is this for a Minecraft PC, mobile version?

For Xbox, if you own the Xbox version of Minecraft you have the option to share the game to all users on the same Xbox via Home Xbox feature. Once you set a console as the Home Xbox, the game license will be shared to all users so you won't need to buy the game for the other account.

In addition to this, if you are not sure what email address is associated to your gamertag you can visit https://account.microsoft.com/profile page to manage your email address. You will then find here what is the email alias, then you may check what gamertag it is associated via https://account.xbox.com/profile page.

Hello Russian, according to your description looks like you must not have migrated your account from Mojang to Microsoft, if you haven't already, follow the procedures in the link below.

The most likely answer to this is that the email on the xbox is different,

support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account

I would follow the steps on that site and just double check the email, then check the spelling as well to be sure it isn't just a letter off or something
