Help here problems with dpad changing weapons and bow...

You must hold LEFT or the RIGHT on the D-PAD. NOT the analog sticks. you hold the right d-pad down and you will see a number show up next to the item highlighted to hotkey that item to the right d pad.

Also, quick tip, you can actually switch between three things with two handed items.

lets say you have a two handed item hot keyed to the d pad(lets use right), and you have two spells in your hand, you hit the right d-pad, you switch to your two handed weapon, when you hit right on the d pad again, its brings up the two spells you last
had in your hand. same with the left. you can have a two handed weapon on the left, and a bow on the right, and duel wield two weapons or spells and switch between all three of them on the fly.

I have poisons hotkeyed to the left d-pad and my bow hotkeyed to the left, and when I need to heal, I hit the right on my d-pad to unequip my bow and that brings up my conjur spell and healing spell and then I hit the right d-pad again to switch back to
my bow and then I hit the left d pad to use a poison on the bow.

Xbox 360 controlller is seen in Game Controllers window as my previous pad in Windows 7

I had my Xbox controller delivered today, so first I uninstalled the drivers for my two previous pads - a generic one and a Speedlink XEOX SL-6566-BK. There wasn't a prompt for a reboot, so I simply plugged the 360 controller in, the driver installed successfully.
Then I tried playing Dark Souls, but the analog stick wasn't working correctly, so I thought that I'll calibrate it and opened the Game Controllers window, but the pad is recognized as SL-6566. Could somebody help me please?

Same thing here. Purchased X1 less than a month ago and left analogue stick is gone. Bought second pad to play with my mate - 1 week it lasted. Exchangex the first one and gone in two days. I'm a bit impulsive player, but xb360 controllers lasted for years...

You can only sign into your account on one Xbox One console at a time. Simultaneous sign-in will likely result in one of the consoles logging out.

However, there may be a workaround to allow your kind of setup at the party, though. I believe that digital games can be played offline if you
set your Xbox One as your "Home" console. With this in mind, try this:

- Xbox #1: Your "Home" console. Keep completely offline, play your Jackbox game normally.

- Xbox #2: The other console. Connect this online. Log in with your account, download and install the game (if needed), and play.

I don't know for sure if this will exactly work, so if you already have access to the second Xbox One, I'd suggest you test this out.

In case anyone's interested, I found out that it works with my account and a separate Silver account. You don't need Gold to play Jackbox. Even though it's online, you don't actually connect to other Xbox users, so it's not really multiplayer. You just connect
to Jackbox's service. I was able to run to games by using a Silver account on my home console (which is the "primary" console for the games), and I signed in with my account on a separate console and downloaded the games there. I can run games on both Xboxes.

Ah. Well, shoot. I was vaguely aware the game was about trivia and other casual games suited for party settings and figured it would be played offline, but if it must be played
online, then my idea in the previous post won't work.

In that case, the simultaneous account sign-in condition still stands: only one account can be signed into one Xbox One console at a time.

I believe your only solution at this point is to have another account purchase the game digitally, so each Xbox will have their own account and digital title.
