Two Merged Minecraft Accounts???

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Minecraft accounts. We understand that you bought Minecraft Java edition under your dad's Microsoft account, which also included Bedrock edition, and that you have another Microsoft account that only had Bedrock edition. However, somehow your accounts got mixed up and now the account that only had Bedrock has access to both Java and Bedrock, while the account that had both now only has Bedrock. Moreover, the account that has access to Java now has your single player and multiplayer worlds, but you lost all your progress and items on the servers. You also cannot access your original username or buy Java again on the other account.

It seems like this could be related to the recent migration of Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts. This process was intended to improve security and player safety, but it appears that it may have caused some confusion with your accounts.

We can try some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue, however if the steps fail, we may need you to reach Mojang Support for further assistance as it seems like this is a complex issue that may require further investigation to their technical team.

In the meantime, please follow these steps:

1. Check the account details:

Make sure you’re signing in with the correct Microsoft account that was used for the migration. You should have received a confirmation email about the migration on this account.

2. Add the Microsoft account to your Minecraft Launcher:

You can do this by clicking on “Settings” in the lower-left corner, going to the “Accounts” tab, clicking on “Add Microsoft account”, and signing in with the Microsoft account that you migrated to.

3. Try a different launcher:

Some users have reported issues with the Windows 10 launcher showing only the “play demo” option. You could try downloading the Windows 7/8 launcher from the Minecraft website and playing the game using it.

Thanks for reaching out! In reference to your issue, unfortunately you cannot add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account. Aliases cannot be used to share information between two Microsoft accounts—the ability to link Microsoft
accounts was discontinued in 2013. Existing @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, and @msn.com addresses can't be added as aliases.

Sorry to hear it. If the email is not accepted by the system then you would need to use a different one. Try creating a hotmail.com account for your gamertag.
