    Two Issues - Email and Wallet


    1. As the parent (organizer) of the Microsoft account, I cannot find a way to change my son's email account information. The email account for him that Microsoft has isn't working.
    2. There is $35 on the Microsoft account and there is no way to use it. When making a purchase through the Microsoft Store website, it is not offered as a purchase option. When purchasing through the Xbox, same issue. Purchasing with funds already on the account
      is not an option, only PayPal or credit cards are listed as options.
    I chatted with a Microsoft rep and got no answers. He could not see any funds on the account, though I could see them. I offered to screenshot what I can clearly see and send it to him, but Microsoft doesn't allow them to communicate via email and the chat
    doesn't have the capability to post a pic. I asked if I could simply get a refund for the money I placed on the account. Nope. Not an option. So there the money sits on the account, which they cannot see even though I have the emails from Microsoft to prove
    it, and I can't use any of it.

    There is tax on purchases. In my state it would be $4.99 + $.06 a dollar= $5.29.

    Hello Batavia,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Reason it most likely isn't going through, is due to taxes. The total is probably around 5.26-5.30 so there isn't enough in the currency to cover it. You could add your card for the difference or go to
    a game store buy $1 in currency. After the purchase if you added card you then can remove the card.

    Thanks, Brad. Thus far, I have only used my own credit card to purchase credits for my son. However, I would prefer not to especially since it seems that I can't add anything less than $10 through our Microsoft family account. How/where do I purchase lesser
    amounts at a game store?
