Two Issue Kinect and Messages Disappearing

Hello I have two issue I was sent a preview code a while ago which came into my messages. I diidnt redeem it at the time and when I went looking for it recently the message had dissappeared. Also I am having a problem with my Kinect disconnecting by itself
and I need to remove the connect and put it back in for it to be recognised but it seems to disconnect at lot.

Saaaame here! Also Kinect disappearing too..lights turn off and No Kinect symbol on screen...AGGH

 

My 1-Month Xbox Live Code Disappeared from my Messages

I have a similar issue in regards to my messages disappearing , I'm in the preview program and two days ago I received a Xbox live message for a Smite alpha code. Since I already have Smite I didn't redeem the code and wanted to send it to a friend today
but the message is gone and I know for a fact I didn't delete it. Is there anyway I can get the message/code back?

I just added the role for you to access and post in the Preview Program Support forum, go ahead and post over there to request to have the code resent.

As for the Kinect issue, let's start with these steps below!

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit fully powers down.
  
• Once the device is powered down, unplug the Kinect and the power cable from the Xbox One console for 5 minutes.
  
• After the 5 minutes are up, plug both the Kinect sensor and the power supply back into the Xbox One console and see if the issue persists!
  

If the Kinect issue persists, please post back and let us know so we can dig a little deeper! Hope you get that invite back soon!

 

Thanks for the reply I've tried that before and the Kinect usually works for a while then randomly disconnects again. I'll try again today after work and let you know if theres any change. My friend is having the same problem with his at the minute as well.

 

Still having the same issues it worked for a couple of hours and the disconnected again

Apologies for the delayed response! Is your Xbox One currently set to 'Instant On'? If so, try switching it over to 'Energy-saving' to see if the results change at all. To do that, follow these steps:

• Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
• Next, select the 'Power & startup' tile.
• From here, you can switch to 'Energy-saving'.

If the issue persists, my next recommendation is to follow the steps on our
Kinect Won't Turn On support page. While that doesn't directly pertain to the issue you are experiencing, there are steps on that page that are worth going over.

If the issue persists after trying that page as well as energy saving mode, your Kinect sensor may need to be repaired. To begin the repair process, visit our Online Service Center.

Please keep us in the loop once you have tried those options!

 

This issue is still occuring with the kinnect and also the forum for retriving my old messages you linked to does not exsit. I've had a few problems with my xbox already including having to get a replacement controller and being without one for nearly a
month. I think this is starting to get a bit unacceptable for a console that is less than two years old.
