Two instances of one game Game Pass

Thank you for the update and for the clarity. I understand that you would like to know how to open two instances of the same game using Game Pass. Let's continue and check to see what we can do best regarding this issue we have.

• Just want to clarify, you are using steam application to launch the game which was working and when you tried doing it on your computer by having an Xbox Game Pass for PC on your account that's when the issue presented, correct?
  
• Also, just want to confirm if you are using the Xbox app for launching this game from your PC device?
  
• Is the issue presented only to this game?
  
• Was this working before?
  

In cases like this, there is a possibility that opening two instances of the same game using Game Pass is not officially supported by Microsoft. However, there are some workarounds that you can try. One possible solution is to create a new user account on your computer and install a separate copy of Stardew Valley on that account. This will allow you to run two instances of the game simultaneously. Here are the steps to create a new user account:



1. Click on the Start menu and select Settings.

2. Click on Accounts.

3. Click on Family & other users.

4. Click on Add someone else to this PC.

5. Follow the prompts to create a new user account.



Once you have created a new user account, you can install a separate copy of Stardew Valley on that account. Here are the steps to install the game:



1. Log in to the new user account.

2. Open the Microsoft Store app.

3. Search for Stardew Valley and select it from the search results.

4. Click on Install to install the game.

3. Are we trying to play the game using the same account on the different platforms at the same time?
   
4. Or are you referring with Xbox game sharing feature?

I use to have Stardew valley on my steam and had no problems running two instances of it at the same time.
I would like to know how can i run two instances of stardew valley at same time. in the same computer.
my Game Pass subscription is gamepass PC.
