Two gamertags on Xbox One

Hi all,

Sorry if this question has been asked previously, I wanted to know how can you get two names displayed on your Xbox One profile?

I've seen a few console players that have done this and was curious to know if its possible.

[This is when I found out about this]

There's one game I play - Dead By Daylight and noticed a few xbox players having two gamertags on their profile. Their second one was displayed in game but on their profile it appeared as a 'second' gamertag with their primary one on top.

Try changing your gamertag (you don't have to complete it). If it doesn't show both options, then it may not split it into 2. If you're worried about losing your tag, I wouldn't change it.

Ah thanks for your reply.

So how would I go about checking the Gamertag option for the classic and the newest?

I don't want to change my main Gamertag nor do I want to lose it.

The bottom tag is considered a "classic" gamertag, and the top one is from the newest gamertag policy. Usually the 2nd tag only shows if the new tag has special characters or the user was given the option to change both and only changed one of them.

I'll give it a go in changing the gamertag - confirming that if both options for a new one and keep the classic doesn't present itself or something like that, then it won't split into 2.

I could always pay to get the name back if needed. Has good memory value

I only changed the gamertag on 360. I have my actual name and two gamertags on the Xbox One. One old, one new, on the same profile.
