    I try to play Minecraft after the new update but it told me to download new launcher from microsoft store so i did it, after i manage to install the new launcher it ask me to login to my microsoft account but it ask me to make a new gamertag.

    After i make a new gamertag i got a whole new empty account, my minecraft was gone too and when i use the old launcher it still use my old gamertag. can anyone help? thanks before

    ps: I try login from the website but it only open to my new gamertag, and if i choose profile from my old gamertag in old launcher it redirect me to my new gamertag profile

    Sorry to hear about your issues with the account migration for Minecraft. It sounds like there is just an account association issue with what Microsoft account has your license for Minecraft on it.

    I would recommend checking out the following article here for a possible solution directly from the Mojang team. If the article itself cannot provide a solution, use the Report a Concern button on the bottom of the page to open a ticket with the team directly. They have the resources available to figure out where the disconnect might be and get you back up and running.
