    Two controllers- multiplayer on console-not live


    How/or can? I connect both my controllers and play Forza. I purchased xbox assuming that my two children could play together at home using a game disc, but I cannot get Froza allow multiplayer (but not live) just my two children here at home. Can someone
    please provide ( a seriously out of his depth Dad before my children destroy each other ) with the answer. I just want them to race each other. Surely this is possible, but I cannot seem to be able to make this happen. It defaults to a single player? Thank

    Hello welcome to the forums!

    Forza Motorsport 7 have Split screen options so your childrens can play on the same screen.

    Forza horizon 4 don't have Split screen option!

    You can only share Live on the same console. You could buy games that have split screen multiplayer for your kiddos. Or you will have to get two accounts for them and two Xbox Live subscriptions if they are gonna play on seperate consoles.

    Are you playing with two different controllers and with two different profiles signed in at the same time? Are you trying to play a local game or are you mistakenly selecting the Xbox LIVE multiplayer option? Let us know. Thanks!

    All games can be played on the console. Even if it is owned by a non-gold member. The gold membership is shared throughout all users on the console.

    As for the multiplayer issue, I would recommend having two controllers to avoid sign in issues as you pass the controller back and forth.

    There are two levels of Live when it comes to using the console: Free and Live. Free lets you sign into the service to connect to things like the store. Gold let's you play online multiplayer.
