    Hi there,

    There is no way to have two accounts merged. You'll need to add the account to your Xbox One (Sign in --> Add new) using the e-mail address tied to that account. If you no longer have access to it, you'll need to work with the e-mail domain to recover it.

    Ok so I created my primary xbox live account a number of years ago and I no longer use that email address. I would like to transfer my account to my primary email address. However, my primary email address has an xbox live profile associated with it as well
    and I can not figure out how to remove the profile from my primary email address. I do not care if the account associated with my primary email address is deleted. Basically I have a throw away email with my primary xbox live account on it and a primary email
    address with a throw away xbox live account on it and I would like to make my primary xbox live account linked to my primary email address. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

    Could you explain further please? Am I correct in thinking you want to have two accounts, one on Windows 8 and one on your Xbox console?

    I'm not aware off the top of my head of any service that allows you to transfer digital purchases between accounts. They probably exist, but I'm not aware of any. If one account gets deleted you lose whatever is attached to that account.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Here are the troubleshooting steps to perform on the Xbox:

    Kindly make sure your privacy settings allow communication. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer and make sure the options for communication are set to "Allow" or "Everybody".

    And then check NAT Type, Your NAT type can affect your ability to communicate in party chat. Go to Settings > General > Network settings and check your NAT type. If it's not set to "Open," you might need to open the necessary ports on your router.

    Next is to do the power cycle by turning off your Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on.

    Then clear MAC Address. Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address and select "Clear." This will restart your console.

    It is important as well to check microphone and headset. Make sure that your microphone and headset are properly connected and not muted.

    If the issue persist, kindly use a different headset.

    Hope that this will enable you to talk to parties successfully.
