    I tried to change the email associated with my account and ended up with two different accounts instead. Is there anyway to change the email on the original account and delete the secondary?

    I also have a $5 gift card on the second account and wonder if I can transfer it to the original account?

    How do you start a game with more than one player? Whenever I try to play with guitar and drums, it will only accept one or the other.
    I'm sure there must be a simple solution but I'm not smart enough to find it.

    Firstly, you cant transfer funds unfortunately.
    Check this link for info    .

    Second, you can change the email address associated with an account pretty quickly.

    Head on over to this link     and add a Secondary Email address to your account. Then, change the Primary Alias to the secondary email address and delete the old (now secondary) email account. That's it.

    Could you explain further please? Am I correct in thinking you want to have two accounts, one on Windows 8 and one on your Xbox console?

    I'm not aware off the top of my head of any service that allows you to transfer digital purchases between accounts. They probably exist, but I'm not aware of any. If one account gets deleted you lose whatever is attached to that account.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Here are the troubleshooting steps to perform on the Xbox:

    Kindly make sure your privacy settings allow communication. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer and make sure the options for communication are set to "Allow" or "Everybody".

    And then check NAT Type, Your NAT type can affect your ability to communicate in party chat. Go to Settings > General > Network settings and check your NAT type. If it's not set to "Open," you might need to open the necessary ports on your router.

    Next is to do the power cycle by turning off your Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on.

    Then clear MAC Address. Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address and select "Clear." This will restart your console.

    It is important as well to check microphone and headset. Make sure that your microphone and headset are properly connected and not muted.

    If the issue persist, kindly use a different headset.
