Twitch search function is bugged

Discus and support Twitch search function is bugged in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When searching for something on twitch, as im typing characters in i get cut off when the results appear so i have to press up on dpad to start typing...     Twitch search function is bugged


    When searching for something on twitch, as im typing characters in i get cut off when the results appear so i have to press up on dpad to start typing again. This started after the latest update or is my xb1 bugged for some reason?

    Is there a search function?

    since the update, which apparently was a boatload of garbage... I don't know how to do a search within the xbox

    Please use the search function to find your answer

    The search function on this site is probably the worst "search" function of any site I have ever used. I don't blame people for not using it. It is a broken function.

    Twitch search function is bugged

    Hi there Jay!

    Sorry to hear about the issues with the Twitch application, can you try clearing your cache? This'll just make sure nothing may be conflicting with your application.

    1. Power down your console.
    2. Unplug the power cable from the back of your console.
    3. Wait for a few minutes.
    4. Plug the power cable into the back of your console.
    5. Wait for the power brick to go from a color white to an orange light.
    6. Turn it back on.
    And try typing on your Twitch application again, if the problem with the search function still persists, try uninstalling the Twitch application and reinstalling it.

    Tell me how these steps go for you! Update me with the situation once you return. Twitch search function is bugged :)

    Hi thanks for the reply. I just tried both methods but the problem is still there. Only thing i can think of is will a factory reset clear these bugs i got?

    New streaming platform for Xbox?

    as has been said twitch was on the platform first and has always supported streaming from the app, it used to work with the snap function until microsoft ditched the snap function, so open twitch app and select stream.
