Twitch keep crashing.

All the app on x1 need gold i pay for a gold i exige my fix now.

If twitch not work for 2 week i want ms give me 2 week of gold free if not work for 3 week i want 3 week of gold free

Loving the sound of this app and I am finally glad to be able to watch a twitch feed without my computer crashing (it's not the fastest of laptops).

 

Twitch app keeps crashing on the console

Hello, my twitch apps keeps crashing on the xbox one console,,, these troubles started after the last xbox update. Today it crashed like 13 times already. Please fix this problem.

 

So only in Canada? -_- wow !

 

Hasn't worked for me for about two weeks. I am Canadian. Does this have something to do with ads not loading? if fixing twitch means every stream starts with an ad now, that's a crappy fix.

 

@INoTRON Why would MS owe you gold time because of a bug with Twitch??

If you not have gold you cant use twitch i pay for a gold and now i cant use twitch i want my money back.

Any chance you could clarify what issues they are experiencing with the ISPs? I know from other forums that users on multiple ISPs in Canada, Ontario in particular, were reporting routing issues at one point but I thought those had been resolved. I know
me for one, even attempting to stream I am hitting issues, feels like a year or two back when I had to use Virginia instead of New York because the routing to New York was horrible and the stream would backup, saturate my internet, etc.

Just curious if you have anything else, I might need to follow-up with my ISP since I have the tracert's/WinMTRs in hand.

 

Where the fix 2 week now twitch not load video its unbeliveble for twitch canada not exist or what?

 

I tested it last night, I can't stream at all anymore, the broadcast starts but nothing is outbound on the router. My guess, a connection can't be made to any of the Twitch servers so it just halts there. I would assume the same goes for viewing streams
via the console if I can't get a stream connection out.

I don't think it has anything to do with ISPs. If you change your region in the Xbox one settings to USA, then the app seems to work and you can watch streams.

Good to know. Perhaps the app uses the region to determine which servers to attempt to connect to. I wish the Twitch App had advanced settings so I could choose the server myself. Unless it is outright blocking Canadian users but I can't imagine that's
the problem.

 

Same problem as everyone else. Riddle me this, if it's our ISP's, how come it works just fine on my xbox 360?

 

That's the question . We don't have a lot of insight into how the app itself works which being used to having 100% control over my stream's settings is a change. I tested my PC stream out last night and it worked but was still sketchy, dropping frames
like mad regardless of server yet my upload over multiple speed tests from multiple sites held 100% upload :s. Since we have no control over the app at all we can't seem to do much but wait for it to be resolved whatever the issue might be.
