    Twitch black screen when streaming


    Hello all,

    I’ve been directed by Twitch support to use the Xbox support to solve this problem I have.

    I’m currently using an Xbox Series X to stream games to Twitch and both Xbox and Twitch are up-to-date.

    When I stream it shows a black screen with the game/voice audio. This presents across multiple browsers and applications including Firefox, Edge, Xbox Twitch app and the iOS Twitch application. Funny enough, when the problem present on FireFox I swapped
    over to view on edge and it picked up the video but no where else, shortly after it stopped wotking there.

    The only fix I’ve found that works *sometimes* is uninstalling the Xbox Twitch application and reinstalling it. Doing this everytime I steam is inpractical and annoying.

    I honestly think this is a Twitch problem but it’s worth a try posting here.

    Hello,

    I've taken these steps and the issue has not resolved. I believe the issue is within the Xbox App, not the console. I can stream from the console to YouTube or Twitch without any issues but encounter freezing and black screens when exiting or entering full screen in the Xbox App when streaming to my PC from the console through the Xbox App.

    at lest ur getting somthing when i try to watch a stream all i get is a black screen with no sound but chat works ive even unintstalled aned reinstalled no fix and im getting close to emailing xbox and twitch to do a hot fix for this
